Three-point body anchor

A quiet, eyes-open exercise that moves attention through three points of contact between your body and the world. Useful when naming things out loud isn't possible.

Best for: Public places, meetings, waiting rooms, night-time waking

Before you begin

Rating how you feel now — and again at the end — shows you whether this exercise helps. Optional, and only ever visible to you.

How distressed do you feel right now?

0 = calm, 10 = as distressed as it gets

If grounding isn't touching how you feel, that is information, not failure. Our crisis support page and consultations are there for heavier days.
