This page is maintained by Simply Mindfull Moments to explain how we keep the platform safe and supportive. It describes our current moderation practices, not independent legal certification. If you have questions about how this policy applies to you, please contact us or consult a legal professional.
What this policy covers
This Content Policy applies to any content you create, share, or post on Simply Mindfull Moments, including journal entries, comments, messages, profile information, and any other material you submit to the platform. It also explains how we review reports and respond to violations.
Simply Mindfull Moments is designed first as a private self-care space. Your journal entries are private by default and are not monitored or reviewed by our team or by automated systems unless you choose to share them or report a concern.
Private journal content
Your personal journal entries are private to your account. We do not read, scan, or moderate private journal content for general purposes, and we do not use journal content to train AI models or to advertise to you.
If you choose to share a journal entry or export your journal, you are responsible for ensuring the content is appropriate for the audience receiving it. Once shared outside your private account, the content may become subject to this policy and the expectations of the person or platform receiving it.
Prohibited content
To keep Simply Mindfull Moments safe, welcoming, and supportive, the following content is not allowed on the platform:
- Content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or violence against others.
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or content that targets individuals or groups based on identity, disability, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics.
- Sexually explicit content, nudity, or sexual solicitation.
- Illegal content, including threats, fraud, impersonation, or content that violates applicable laws.
- Graphic, violent, or traumatic content shared without a clear and supportive purpose.
- Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or attempts to collect other users' personal information.
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights or that violates another person's privacy.
- Medical misinformation or claims that could lead users to delay or avoid professional mental health care.
We recognize that people sometimes express distress or difficult emotions in their private journal. Private expression of distress is not a violation of this policy. The prohibitions above apply to content that is shared with others or that threatens the safety of the platform or its users.
Imminent risk of harm
If we receive a credible report or observe content that indicates an imminent risk of serious harm to you or someone else, we may take steps consistent with our safety obligations. This can include contacting emergency services, providing crisis resources, or suspending access to certain features.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger
Simply Mindfull Moments is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline right now.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline. You can find resources on our Crisis Support page.

When you report content, please include as much detail as possible so we can review the issue fairly and quickly. We do not retaliate against users for making good-faith reports.
How we handle reports
Our team reviews reports as promptly as possible. The review process generally includes:
- Confirming the content and context of the report.
- Assessing whether the content violates this policy or applicable law.
- Considering the severity, intent, and any history of violations.
- Taking action that is proportionate to the violation.
We may remove content, issue a warning, suspend or terminate an account, or escalate to law enforcement or crisis services when appropriate. We will notify you of the outcome of your report when it is safe and practical to do so.
Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted by mistake, you may appeal the decision. To appeal, contact us with the details of the content, the action taken, and why you believe the action was incorrect. We will review your appeal and respond as quickly as we can.
