Accessibility Statement

App-owned notice
This page is maintained by Simply Mindfull Moments to explain our approach to accessibility. It describes the practices and goals we currently follow, not an independent certification or audit. If you have questions about accessibility on Simply Mindfull Moments, please contact us using the information below.
Our commitment
Simply Mindfull Moments is committed to making mental health self-care accessible to as many people as possible. We believe everyone should be able to check in with their mood, journal, breathe, and meditate using the tools and assistive technologies that work best for them.
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our platform and welcome feedback from users who encounter barriers.
WCAG approach
Simply Mindfull Moments aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Our approach includes:
- Designing with sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators throughout the app.
- Using semantic HTML and ARIA labels where they help assistive technologies.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Building responsive layouts that work on different screen sizes and zoom levels.
- Testing with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser accessibility tools during development.
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas of the app may still be improving. We treat accessibility as an ongoing priority, not a one-time check.
Accessibility features
Keyboard friendly
Interactive elements can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
Readable contrast
We use design tokens that support readable text and clear focus states.
Responsive design
Layouts adapt to different devices, screen sizes, and browser zoom levels.
Assistive technology
We use semantic markup and labels to support screen readers and voice control.
Known limitations and ongoing work
Simply Mindfull Moments is an evolving platform. Some areas we are actively improving include:
- Breathing and meditation animations include visual cues; we are working to add non-visual alternatives for users who cannot rely on motion.
- Some interactive elements may still need broader keyboard and screen-reader testing.
- Third-party integrations may provide accessibility features that differ from our own controls.
If you find a barrier we have not yet addressed, please let us know so we can prioritize it.
How to submit accessibility feedback
We welcome your feedback on accessibility. To help us understand and resolve the issue, please include:
- A description of the accessibility barrier you encountered.
- The page or feature where it happened.
- The device, browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using (for example, iPhone + Safari + VoiceOver, or Windows + Chrome + NVDA).
- What you expected to happen and what actually happened.
- Any steps that reliably reproduce the issue.
You can submit feedback by email. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and will let you know if we need more information or when a fix is available.
